Sweetgrass Buffalo Co. Internet and Live-Auction Production Sale
Sweetgrass Buffalo Co is having an Internet and Live-Auction production sale on the 7th of December. The herd has produced two true albino bison calves since 2015 which lineage comes from White Cloud who lived at The National Buffalo Museum in Jamestown North Dakota where she had only 11 calves before she passed on the 14th of November 2016 making her genetics vary rare.
The herd genetics are a mix of Plains and Woods Bison coming from Gold Trophy, Gold Spike, National Buffalo Museum, Antelope Island and Mcelhatton Herd in Bozeman MT.
Bidding will start at 10 am and end at 3 pm on December 7th, 2019. The internet auction site is http://sweetgrassbuffalo.com and the live auction location is North of Big Timber MT which is just off of I 90 between Billings and Bozeman MT. The bison can be inspected in person at the ranch starting December 4th through the 7th by appointment only. The herd was founded in 1997 and has been meticulously managed for 22 years with an eye on the highest quality genetics available on the market.
Bison being auctioned are:
65 Heifer Calves, 54 Bull Calves, 28 Yearling Heifers, 35 Yearling Bulls, 4 Two-Year-Old Breeding Bulls, 4 Two Year Old Bred Heifers and 1 Trophy Bull.
All animals will be vet inspected and De-wormed. Females will be bangs vaccinated.
