The Wisconsin Bison Producers Association (WBPA) is hosting its annual conference on January 31-February 1, 2025 at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Saturday’s lineup includes Dr. Heather Roney, Wisconsin DATCP Division of Animal Health. She will be discussing some of the highlights from an International Bison Symposium she recently attended. Adam Ulbricht, executive director of the Minnesota Bison Association and regional representative of the National Bison Association will discuss a multitude of national bison programs. A new producer panel consisting of three new bison ranchers, Joe Snow from Zimmerman MN, Ricky Wilkey from Watertown WI and Isabella Tondi from Malone WI, will discuss their motives for becoming bison producers and share their journeys into the industry. A lively exchange is expected.
